{Pink roses and baby girl’s nursery rug}
This weekend was welcomed with open arms (then again, every weekend is). Yet, what I am most focused on is the week ahead. TJ headed out of town earlier this morning for a week, for a business trip, leaving me and Captain to hold down the fort. While I always prefer to have him home, I was reflecting this evening on the week ahead and realized that this will likely be one of the last times I will be alone (for this amount of time) in a long time. With our little girl arriving in December/January, “alone” will take on a whole different meaning. I’ve always been the type of person who has been okay with “alone” time… filling it with a good book, a nice walk, or cooking up a new dish. While I know these opportunities won’t completely disappear in a few months, they will change. And so, in light of the changes that will be presenting themselves in a few months, this week will be my “selfish week.” Dinner and a book. Watching whatever I want on T.V., and maybe even a few spur of the moment plans. I guess the possibilities are ultimately endless (with the exception of a little thing called a job :)). Have a great week everyone!
{Another weekend, another pitaya bowl… this time at Birdie Bowl}
{New little bralette to wear under a new favorite dress}
{Birthday celebrations which always require a pool day and causal appetizers… and a glass of rose I wish was mine!}
{Pool day essentials… almost through my summer reading list and loving these new Two Mom’s In The Raw bars}
This move is a little uncomfortable for me with the belly, but I love the sculpting potential it has… so be sure to check out Women’s Health Weekend Challenge.
Sunday’s Wish-list: loving this dress with side slits (pairs perfectly with the bralette above…), this plaid dress (which I can already see the potential summer and fall combos), a neutral mule, a light pink double breasted vest, jogger pants, and these casual kicks.
