After having been gone the past two weekends, it felt nice to head into the weekend knowing we would be at home and able to get back into some of our favorite rhythms and routines. And with heavy rain forecasted, it meant soccer Saturdays were canceled and we were able to move a bit slower than we typically do on the weekends. Which was much needed.
We enjoyed our typical Friday routine, a spontaneous Saturday with friends and Easter egg coloring with family, and then a beautiful Easter Sunday spent with 4 generations of family (which is also so special).
And now, here we are, at the start of another week ahead. A few good sales that end today….
The Bloomingdale’s Friends and Family 25% off sale ends today. I own this black crochet dress (took it to Italy with me), white eyelet top (so pretty for spring), these lightwash straight leg jeans (a great color for spring and summer), black cashmere vest (you can wear this fully tucked, out, or with one side tucked in), and this long sleeve striped tee (great for cool spring days and with shorts in the summer). If you’re in the market, I highly recommend them.
The J.Crew Spring sale ends today as well. I love these linen shorts (I wore them so much last summer, and just ordered the flax color)…. and the matching linen vest (this is a new purchase). I also wore this black linen/gauze button down dress pretty much everyday for breakfast in Hawaii (it also works as a cover-up), and this linen button down top is great with shorts and jeans. I also love this b+w striped top… looks like a great option for the warm weather months.
One of my favorite black Varley shorts were restocked… they’re from the DoubleSoft collection and are a great casually elevated option for spring and summer.
I wore this “explorer” dress multiple times in Europe last summer… it’s a mixed material dress and so easy to dress up or down… it was restocked this year and I can’t recommend it more!
A favorite short t-shirt dress of mine was just released in a maxi style in both black and white… it’s such an easy throw on and go dress, and I wore the black one in Europe multiple times.
