I talk with the girls a lot about how it’s natural to have two feelings at the same time… and when we feel both happy and sad we call it “SHAPPY.” I’d have to say that’s exactly how I’m feeling as we embark upon the last Monday of November. Sad because I can’t believe that one of my favorite weekends of the entire year has already come and gone…that time is moving so fast. Yet, also happy because I love the holiday season, and I’m so excited that it’s now officially upon us.

Our weekend was filled with all the usual traditions… and as we commence a new week ahead of us, I’m looking forward to the first of many holiday festivities that will begin towards the end of the week.

I truly hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend (if you celebrate) and that you have a great week ahead!

(And the weekend wouldn’t be complete without a second showing of “National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.”)
