Weekend Recap

We spent most of last week adjusting back to reality… time change, routines, etc… and then Tuesday morning, Harper came down with a fever, so we hunkered at home for the week helping her feel better (luckily it wasn’t any of the nasty culprits like Strep, COVID, or the flu… just a nasty little summer cold). So when the weekend hit, we decided to keep things relatively low key and enjoyed time by the pool, homemade breakfasts, a bit of the women’s World Cup, and a family BBQ to close out the weekend.

And now here we are, the last day of July. When TJ and I were chatting on Friday night, we couldn’t believe that the girls only have 2.5 weeks left of summer and that July is almost over. The summers seem to go by quicker and quicker the older the girls get, so we’ll just be over here trying to soak in the last couple of weeks of summer the best we can…

I hope everyone has a wonderful week ahead!

I have August’s capsule wardrobe coming tomorrow…
And then a recap of our trip to Sicily + Capri towards the end of the week….

_____

I wore my New Balance 327 sneakers for walking long distances in Europe and they were so comfortable… the color I have is sold out, but this all white pair and this grey accented pair are new and in stock (I purchased the grey pair for this fall season since I know they sell out haha).

SHOPBOP is having a 30% off sale and this two toned suit I bought for Europe and this black and tan straw bag are included… both are so great! I purchased this crochet cover-up for the trip, but it was too warm to wear it, but it fits beautifully and I recommend it if you’re in the market… I also own these loveshackfancy hair ties and I love them as an easy way to elevate a simple outfit and pulled back hair… they’re also on sale.

Nordstrom has some really cute dainty jewelry pieces, that can layer beautifully with pieces you already own, included in the Nsale… love this little heart pendant, paperclip chain bracelet, wide wave ring, paperclip chain necklace, small gold hoop earrings, rope chain necklace, opal bead necklace (I have this one on my wishlist…), and these textured gold hoop earrings.

I also think these under $50 earrings are beautiful…

This striped henley cotton pullover from Sezane was restocked… a favorite for all seasons… I also love this taupe tank for end of summer early fall layering.
