We spent Saturday celebrating little Camille’s birthday. At the beginning of the week, I was nervous that the celebrations would have to be canceled, but by the end of the week, with everyone feeling back to normal, the party was still on. It’s hard to believe that Camille is now 4.

 I always like to look back on photos of the girls on their birthdays… and when I came across a photo of Camille in my arms right after she was born, compared to now, it’s hard to believe that the same loving, curious, independent, social butterfly that stands in front of us was that tiny at one point.

And just like children grow and change over the years, so do we as parents. For me, both of our girls have taught me something, about myself, and I’ve grown as a mom over the years. I often think our children help us grow and reflect, just as we help them do the same as they mature over the years.

So here’s to another spin around the sun for our little Camille….
