Weekend Recap

We had a big weekend of celebrations… from a one year old birthday to my grandma’s 95th birthday… and if that doesn’t complete the spectrum of birthdays I’m not sure what does.

My grandma’s birthday was a particularly special day, with cousins and second cousins, coming together to celebrate, and I feel so grateful that my daughters have been able to have a relationship with her over the years (Camille’s middle name is after her). I’ve had the privilege of traveling to Paris, London, and New York with her… and of gleaning her life’s wisdom over the years. She’s a constant reminder to me to continue to live life to the fullest while you can… she’s 95 and just returned home from a Hawaiian vacation with her 100 year old BFF…. and she’s visited 7 out of the 8 wonders of the world. I can only hope to be as well traveled, knowledgeable, and graceful as she is when I am older… and crossing my fingers I get that longevity gene (her mom lived until she was 98).

And as the weekend comes to a close, I’m looking forward to relaxing on the cough with a good book to unwind.

I hope everyone had a great weekend and a nice week ahead!

_____

Love these under $50 embellished shoes for the holidays- my mom and I have them and they’re so pretty- and comfortable (they look similar to this almost $200 pair).

I bought this oversized velvet bow for the holiday season and can’t wait to wear it with a simple hairstyle…

We’re heading to Park City this weekend for our 6th annual weekend before Thanksgiving Trip and I have my packing list almost complete:

this puffer coat (it’s 30-40% off… I have it in the black and park brown), sherpa jacket, and this plaid jacket
This half zip sweater, oversized ivory sweater, oversized brown sweater, and this black and tan striped sweater
Oversized cashmere scarf
and I’m still figuring out the bottoms and shoe situation… better get on that…
