Our summer weekends all tend to blend into each other, and that’s mainly because they are slight variations of the ones past… there is always pool… sometimes the beach… and always some kind of BBQ… good libations… and time spent with family. How, where, and when that all happens is what creates the minor variations. And while it may seem relatively monotonous, I wouldn’t have it any other way. There is something that I appreciate about the slowness of summer, that I know I will come to miss when the girls go back to school.

As we headed into last weekend, I saw this quote:

“Time is non-refundable. Use it with intention.”

I think it pretty much sums up how we spend our weekends.

And now we head into another week ahead, and I hope that everyone had a nice couple days off, was able to recharge, and has a good week ahead!
