Weekend Recap

I was so tired by the time we wrapped up the weekend, that I sat down on the couch, we turned on a movie, and I couldn’t keep my eyes open past 8:30. Which is guess is always a sign of a weekend well spent…. everything from confetti pancakes for breakfast on Saturday morning to a birthday party with friends and Sunday night football with family… and while I’ve come to appreciate the slower pace of life, weekends like this are always sort of nice.

And now back to the Monday-Friday. I hope everyone has a good week ahead!

(Meeting our newest member to the family, little Olivia)

(Lived in a variation of this outfit the latter part of the week… tee, jeans, cardigan)

(Friday tradition… Mendocino Farms avocado super salad take-out….)

(A little family movie night to kick off the weekend… the girls had been eagerly awaiting the new Ice Age movie all week long… it was very cute, highly recommend…)

(Saturday’s shades of blue for some quick errands… leggings, similar sweatshirt, bag)

(Heated up the pool for an early evening, pre-dinner, swim…. girl was in her element…)

(I’ve been eyeing this sausage and clam pasta dinner for several weeks, ever since I received this Jenni Kayne catalogue…. we made it happen Saturday night (with a few gf/df modifications) and it was amazing. Highly recommend…)

(Headed out for a little Sunday birthday party and then Sunday night football + dinner at my parent’s… top, jeans, bag, similar slides)

(And then some baby snuggles to close out the weekend….)

________

A few of my go-to products were recently restocked…..

the gold beaded necklace I wear daily (10% off with code SHANNON)
my favorite oversized linen coverup in the prettiest pink shade
this one size, fits most, one piece crinkle swimsuit
long and loose cut-off denim shorts
tiered pastel cover-up/dress (toss a slip on underneath and it works as a dress)…
black quilted jacket (the best material and a good winter-spring piece)….
these high waisted, steel blue, leggings
these silky cover-up shorts were recently marked down to $50… I bought them last year and they’re so comfortable…
this white ruffle neck dress, I bought last summer, is sustainably made and on sale for under $20 (great as a cover-up or for everyday wear with a slip underneath)
and these grey track joggers
