“Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory…”
We headed out to the desert for a short weekend getaway, and it didn’t disappoint….
Yet, I’d be lying if I said it was a piece of cake… that we didn’t have any toddler meltdowns… or 5:00am wake-ups from a baby… or if there were moments when TJ + I looked at each other and said “Remember how easy it was when it was just the two of us??….”
Even with the ups + downs, I always leave a weekend feeling so appreciative of the time we got the spend together as a family (so many fewer distractions when you’re away) + the memories we ultimately made…
Because the thing with memories is that we often don’t realize they’ll actually become one in the moment….
It’s not until much later, when you look back, that you realize what seemed insignificant at the time was actually something truly special…
Maybe when we look back on this weekend it will be the sunset glass of rosé TJ + I enjoyed by the pool (right outside our room) when the girls went down… or maybe it will be the sassy little comments made by little miss… or chill little Camille just hanging in her raft… either way, even though it isn’t easy traveling with kiddos in toe, I wouldn’t trade in the memories we ultimately make….
Have a great, short, week friends! xx

I’ve been setting easy fitness goals each week… last week my goal was to add .5 miles to my Friday run…. and it’s been such a great way to challenge myself + feel a sense of accomplishment. I think this week I’ll aim to get in y first 45 minutes Peloton ride.
Reformation is a new favorite line of mine… with classic + sustainable pieces… a few favorites include these black denim cut-offs, black pullover, white two piece dress, ivory linen shorts, ivory ribbed top (so cute tucked into jeans), and this basic black ribbed top.
My favorite white slides for summer are currently 40% off… super comfortable + also come in camel + black. Also, my silk joggers (so good dressy or casual) are 40% off right now.
Lou + Grey has some great new arrivals and I’m loving this white henley (great for summer nights), plush sweatshirt (seriously the softest material ever), eyelash sleeveless sweater, and this casual white swing maxi dress. This light tan cardigan is 50% off and I think it’s another great summer option, especially when paired with these silky drawstring shorts!
This basic u-neck tank top is the best… super soft with a slouchy fit… I bought it in three colors!
If you’re looking for some last minute 4th of July pieces I bought this red + white suit + it fits so cute (I sized up two sizes), white eyelet top (featured here), and this blue + white stripe dress.
Shashi has the best statement making pieces to dress up any basic outfit…particularly love these wood earrings.
