Weekend Recap || Our Little Village

Two weeks in and we’re all still alive, and functioning, as a party of four (although, we might just be a tad sleep deprived….). Yet, if there is anything that I’ve learned from these past couple of weeks, it’s that it’s necessary to ask for help when it’s needed. Hands down, there is no way that we would have made it through these past couple of weeks without the help of our little “village.” Our refrigerator is stocked thanks to Instacart, Amazon Prime, + my momma… Harper has made it to her extracurricular activities thanks to my parents… an occasional meal + lunch thanks to my sister….  and the friends who have sent kind messages checking in to see how we are doing. It’s been a nice reminder that we aren’t meant to do this “parenthood” thing solo… that asking for help is okay…. and even necessary for survival.

And with that, I hope you all have a wonderful week ahead.

(Been trying to slow down and be present during this newborn phase…. slippers, gown)

(Park date with my loves…. leggings, pullover)

(Family walks + fresh air…. leggings, tee, hat, Harper’s top, shorts, carrier)

(Fridays with my little ladies…. jumpsuit, slides, Harper’s dress, Camille’s onesie, turban)

(A Friday morning outing for some sweet treats + avocado toast….)

(Basically living in anything stretchy, elastic, or comfortable…. shorts, pullover, hat)

(First small glass of rosé in 10 months…..)

(Feeling a little festive….)

(Cinco de Sleep-O for these tired parents…. shorts, pullover)

Since I won’t be cleared to work out for another 4 weeks, we’ve been enjoying slow, daily, walks as a family. The fresh air is so nice!

I’ve been spending just a little bit of time inside…. which has lent itself to some time on the internet, perusing…. and I also ordered a few items before I had Camille that I just got around to trying on this weekend…. so I thought I’d share a few favorites…..

This side button sweater tank is such a great, casual, spring + summer option. I also love this button front dress + t-shirt button front dress…. all three are also excellent for nursing…..

Z Supply is one of my favorite spots for chic + casual pieces…. and I love this stripe wrap dress. It fits super well and is so easy for a casual daytime look!

I have also been obsessed with Namjosh hair accessories. They seriously make my days old dirty hair somehow look cute… I have this cute multi-colored scrunchie + leopard print headband…. love this leopard scrunchie too!

Abercrombie had a sale and I snagged these denim paper-bag shorts (I sized up a few sizes to account for post pregnancy body…) + this button front blouse. Great, easy, pieces for spring + summer days…

I also wanted to share a few fun Mother’s Day gifts… hard to believe that it’s already here! For yourself, or the on trend momma, everything in this curated shop is perfect. I’m loving these beautiful gold petal earrings, these natural raffia slides (my mom had these on her list), Herbivore skincare rose hydrating trio (use all the products and love them), beautiful straw fedora hat for summer, open back workout tank, the best workout pants (obsessed with them), and this stripe pajama set is so soft + comfortable (I’d know, I’ve been living in it lately!).

Annnd, for Mother’s Day brunch I have my eye on this beautiful button front dress, open back dress in the same print,  or this tiered skirt (worn as a dress) that I purchased when I was pregnant.
