I’ve been over on Pinterest lately getting design inspo for our master bathroom… and along the way a funny pregnancy meme will pop up here and there. Being that we’re in the final 4 weeks, I found this one particularly relatable….
“Waiting for this baby is like picking up someone from the airport… except you don’t know who they are or what time their flight comes in….”
It’s the “not knowing when they arrive” part that creates a slight surge of anxiety when I think about it…. so it was only fitting that the message at church on Sunday morning was about relinquishing the need to control and trusting the process. I might not have everything done, we might not be one hundred percent ready (then again, are you really ever ready for huge life changes??), but I trust that it will all work itself out (or at least I’m working on that….). So as the days go by, I’ll do everything I can to prepare…. but I welcome the excitement and anticipation of the unknown arrival time of our little lady….
Here’s to a week of welcoming what will be….
P.S. Monthly Q+A Friday, e-mail or comment any questions below.

Trying to get ahead and make some healthy dishes for when we’re in a sleep deprived state. I have this oatmeal bake on the menu, but not sure how well it will freeze. Might just go ahead and give it a try though… and will likely swap out some of the sugar for some better substitutes.
One of my favorite lines of clothing Bobi, has some of the cutest, basic, arrivals for spring… I love that the majority of their pieces can be worn for everyday life. Right now I’m loving this open back pullover, v-neck jersey dress, white one shoulder jersey tee, black jumpsuit, and this linen maxi dress has such beautiful pastel colors.
I’m working on a shoe round-up for spring, but one of the trends that I’m loving is the basket woven trend like these slide sandals, pointed toe mules, and these raffia detailed mules.
I’m obsessed with this side tie tank and think it would be so gorgeous for the warmer months!
And this rattan mini circle bag is adorable….
I received this Lou + Grey dress over the weekend and love it…. it fits so well and I plan on having it take me throughout the rest of my pregnancy….. A few of their new arrivals that look so comfortable include these adorable linen drawstring shorts, open knit pullover, and this stripe top + shorts combo (I think they would be so cute together with white slides or sneakers).
And, because I love cozy wear so much….. I have my eye on this shorts + pullover combo (it seriously looks so incredibly soft), + these elastic waist pants (anything with elastic is pretty amazing….).
I finally made a few purchases for our new little lady…. I bought this head piece, bloomers, basic onesie, and this romper.
