I’m not typically one for spontaneity (I mean, life with a toddler doesn’t always lend itself to that type of life)…. I prefer to have plans in place and a general idea of how something is going to play out…. but this weekend I put all of that aside, and went with the flow. We made decisions on the fly…. take-out choices, a last minute date night (and reservation), and a Sunday evening family get together that was put together the morning of…. and it felt slightly liberating. Not a lifestyle I plan on adopting on the regular, but sometimes it’s nice to just see where the weekend takes you, make choices based on the general “feel” of the moment, and enjoy them as they come…..

So as we head into the week ahead, I do so with plans in place (of course) but open to what the days may have in store for us. I hope you all have a wonderful week ahead! xx

I have a few early mornings this week where I need to get out of the house in a hurry, so I’m making a quick batch of overnight museli for the week ahead. So easy to grab and go!

I shared a bunch of Spring favorites over on instagram the other day, but wanted to share them here too! BB Dakota always kills it with their seasonal pieces (one of my favorite lines) and this blush leather jacket would be a beautiful transitional piece. Loving this henley cotton dress (three neutral color options), ribbed maxi dress (beautiful button details), white eyelet dress (gorgeous), blush top handle whicker bag, white lace blouse (purchased this for an upcoming event I have), great basic long sleeve tee (snagged it in the mauve + grey… hoping it’ll get me through the next 10 weeks), and this long romper (looks so comfortable).

SO many beautiful spring sandals out there as well (perfect for a warm weather getaway). Love the sandal selection here (obsessed), with a few of my favorite being these black studded sandals, basic camel leather slide (I own them in black), woven nude slide, and these white slide sandals (low heeled).

My grandmother, mom, sister, and I are having a special girl’s day before our new little lady arrives and I’m thinking about getting this beautiful dress (wear with a nude lace bralette) to wear. I could easily layer it with my favorite light wash denim jacket if it’s a little chilly.

Gorjana just released their new spring line, and the pieces are so beautiful and dainty. A few that I have my eye on include these bar chain earrings, star coin necklace, dainty coil ring, and matching coil cuff.
