Having officially been in our new house for a week, things are finally starting to feel as if we’re settling into our normal routines. After a week of unpacking (still a little more to do…), getting used to new sounds, little miss’ sleep being thrown off, and finding all our dish-wear…. we went into the weekend looking forward to really letting the house feel, and become, a home….
For me, memories are really what transition any house into a home…a place where you feel safe, can’t wait to come home at the end of the day, and where you know there is always someone there for you. So this past weekend, we spent a lot of time doing nothing around the house….. we spent hours playing in the backyard as a family (Harper’s Christmas swing set was finally assembled), bbq’d, had popcorn and movie nights, and just allowed the days to unfold. As we said goodbye to my parents on Sunday afternoon (they came over to help us install our Ring alarm system) my dad remarked that it seemed as if we were settling in nicely. I’d have to agree…..
I hope you all have a wonderful week friends! xx

(A Sunday well spent… errands, tidying up…. and a little BBQ with the fam…. pullover, leggings)
____________
I made a batch of my favorite oatmeal bake for the week ahead… so simple and easy to make ahead of time… and also made these grab-n-go trail mix bites.
A few of my favorite pieces are currently on sale…. this coin pendant necklace, charm necklace, this floral skirt + top set (perfect for a warm weather getaway), and my favorite white lace dress from last season. This boucle hooded pullover that I recently received (so comfortable, and easy to throw on and go) is temporarily 50% off….. and my all time favorite joggers (they are the softest you’ll ever wear) are 50% off as well ($35). I also recently purchased these ponte leggings (thicker material) and they’re included as well. My favorite mini straw tote is currently 50% off as well… I wore mine all throughout the summer… it’s a great evening summer bag… or perfect for daytime as well (depending on how much you put in your bag).
I’m on the search for a few wall items for our new home…. and currently loving this brass round mirror for over our console… and possibly this macrame wall hanging for over our couch…..
I’m seriously considering this simple long sleeve t-shirt dress… loving the black and blush color options… it’s a great price point, and I think it can easily be dressed up or down… and work well with my growing bump in the third trimester.
A few cute, and subtle, pieces for Valentine’s Day that I think are super cute include this blush teddy jacket, dainty heart initial bracelet, my favorite fleece pullover, mauve lace camisole, and these blush pearl slides.
A few super cute items I’m looking at for little miss include these glitter high tops, neutral sweater + jogger combo, adorable ruffle strip suit, and these heart joggers.
