“Each morning we are born again… it is what we do today that matters most….”

I wake up every Monday morning looking forward to the possibilities that could unfold…. and while I have a general idea (in my head) of how I’d like the week to play out… and what possibilities I’d like to present themselves… it just doesn’t always happen that way (duh, right??). Life happens…. good and bad… sometimes I handle it well and sometimes I wish I could do things differently… and then sometimes, in the middle of the day, I have to take inventory and choose to restart. Yet, something I always remember, and find so encouraging, is that no matter how difficult, or challenging, the previous day was, tomorrow is a new day. It’s a completely new start + new beginning with new opportunities. It’s a chance to make changes + different choices, move closer to a goal, make amends, show a deeper level of love, extend grace where it’s needed…. you have the power to choose a fresh start if you want.

So, as we head into the week ahead, I do so with this little reminder in my back pocket. I hope you all have a good one friends! xx

I’m thinking of mixing things up a bit this week and heading down to the beach with little miss for a hike or morning run…. it’s always nice to get a change of scenery….

LOFT has a few new arrivals that I am currently loving… these wide legged pants (great for work and play) come in petite sizes too, slouchy striped scoop neck tank, white swiss dot strappy cami, adorable dotted tie waist romper, and these floral embroidered pants (petite option too), and this smocked eyelet top (seriously, summer in a top).

I bought this cute little chambray knot front top and it’s so cute with high waisted cut-offs + white jeans. A few other super cute pieces I have my eye on (all under $100) include this adorable everyday casual jumpsuit, everyday comfy tee (love the sleeve detailing), casual chambray shorts, tunic tee (love this oversized look… can be worn tucked in or over leggings…), neutral paperbag shorts (great with a comfy pullover too in the summer), and this super cute stripe tank.

Soludos has some of the cutest shoes out for summer… they restocked my favorite mules from last year…. and a few other cute pairs include this pom pom flip flop, knotted slide sandal, and these pretty little wedges.

Shashi has some of the prettiest jewelry pieces (they make my evil eye necklace) and these flower earrings are gorgeous for summer!
