Weekend Recap || The Grass Is Greener….

(The prettiest blooms)

We went into the weekend with no real plans on the calendar (which always feels good) except our usual Saturday morning spin + breakfast date. I always look forward to my SoulCycle classes… as challenging as they are mentally, they always give me something to ponder on when I leave. On Saturday the instructor said something so simple, which I found to be so true…. “You grass is greener when you decide that it is.” So. True.

We can spend so much time thinking that the life someone else has is “greener” than ours, which will only lead to discontentment. Or, we can simply water our own lawn, tend to it, and find the beauty between what we see as weeds. It’s really a simple choice, but one that will result in much more happiness once we make it! So, here’s to a week of watering our own gardens friends! Have a good one! xx

So, this is the final week before the half marathon! I ran 11 miles on Friday, so feeling confident for race day. I ended up getting these leggings + top (in gravel) duo for race day.

Free People has some of the cutest new arrivals that I had to share with you. I’m loving this beautiful ivory + blush embroidered dress, super cute little romper, pink half zip for post workouts, and these blush knotted slides.

I’m also loving this blush twist back sweater (which can be worn two ways, and comes in other colors too), fringe hem cardigan, stripe henley (which I just got an absolutely love), ruffle sleeve sweatshirt, and this perfect v-neck basic tee.

I stumbled across this longline white cardigan, as well as this white one and thought they would both be perfect for spring. Oh, and this oatmeal colored cardi is another excellent neutral option…. as is this sleeveless one, perfect for spring layered under a blazer.

And how adorable is this white lace dress for a special spring occasion?

TJ and I are heading down to San Diego in two weeks for our anniversary trip. Solo (woohoo!). I am loving this one shoulder nude top paired with this gorgeous blush-beige faux fur jacket. I also have this floral one shoulder blouse  and I’m thinking that weekend will be a great opportunity to wear it. This white flutter top is adorable too (especially with distressed jeans + cute slides).
