{All smiles for a little Labor Day BBQ (sweater)}

It’s hard to believe that the unofficial end of summer has come. Labor Day weekend is always a good one… we relax poolside, enjoy bbq-ing, roasting s’mores, and good company… yet, it’s always an interesting transition marker. It’s not yet cold enough to feel like Fall (although we did have cooler temps this weekend), yet everything around me screams fall season…. the official arrival of pumpkin everything, bringing out the cozy sweaters, the Sunday night football jingle, and the excitement of the upcoming holidays. As we transition out of this summer season, I am excited for fun fall activities with Harper and my little family. We’re starting with an upcoming, relatively last minute, trip to Boston at the end of this week. We’ll be heading out Friday and spending a few days on the East Coast just the three of us. We’ve never been, so any recommendations you have would be very welcome… oh, and wish us luck on the long flight!! Have a great week friends!

Saying I indulged this weekend would be a gross understatement… I felt slightly gluttonous if you will. So, I’m cleaning it all up this week starting with the breakfasts I posted here, and following this meal plan pretty closely. I’m also eager to try this cucumber salad for a side dish at dinner.

So, I’m just putting it out there now, but I will likely be overpacking for this upcoming trip. I’ve started planning out the items I will be taking in my head, and this hat, chambray top (love the sleeves), these mules, and this bell sleeve v-neck blouse are at the top of the list. I’m also warming to the bomber jacket trend and have my eye on this grey option, blush beauty, and pink option…. not sure which I’ll go with, but whatever one I do, it will for sure be in that suitcase. I’m also planning on packing my favorite white tank and black jeans, and plan on dressing them up with this gorgeous statement necklace.

For the daytime, I’m thinking about this camo tee, this cute little pink swing dress, and these platform sneakers (love when I can get a few more inches added, all while being comfortable). If the temps decide to cool down, I have my eye on this gorgeous grey off the shoulder sweater, or this grey wrap back sweater. If they don’t, I think this pink sleeveless knit is super cute…. or this billowy white tunic cinched with my favorite belt would be a pretty cute combo.

Annnnd, just because I can’t wait for cool temps these adorable pink slippers somehow made their way onto my wish-list. Go figure.

Oh, also, little miss is growing too quickly and I’m needing to update her wardrobe. I’m loving this little floral dress, floral peplum one piece, these pink waffle texture leggings, and this bloomers and long sleeve top duo.
