{Family lunch at Cafe Gratitude}

I love weekends that you don’t want to end. Those Sundays where you stay in your swimsuit and coverup until the very last minute… trying to savor in every last moment. There wasn’t anything particularly different about this weekend, and maybe that’s what made it so special. I sometimes get caught up in planning…. and getting away… that I miss the simplicity of having “nothing” to do. We were able to wake up and be a little spontaneous…. a walk to breakfast on Sunday morning, and a long 7 mile run on Saturday morning. We spent time at the pool, enjoyed good friends and family, and just sort of hung out. It was a reminder to me that sometimes the simplest moments can be the sweetest. With a busy week ahead, I’m taking that mentality with me. Have a good one all!

I’ve been keeping up with half marathon training… we did a 7 mile run on Saturday. I’m thinking next weekend it might need to be extended to 8!

We have a few weekend getaways on the calendar, and I’m looking for some cute pieces to take with me. I found this beautiful flowy pink blouse and these cute sandals. I’m also loving this ruffle romper, or this skirt paired with this button back sweater. This blue ruffle tank and pastel striped swimsuit would be perfect for another Palm Springs getaway….

For our weekend in wine country, I am wanting to wear a cute sundress one of the days. I’m so indecisive, as I feel there are so many cute options out there right now! But, these are some of my recent choices: this pink layered dress, yellow floral off the shoulder dress, chambray shift dress, and floral midi dress. For the other days, I’m thinking my new favorite cut offs paired with a cute top. I like this cold shoulder tee, ruffle and cold shoulder tank (in multiple colors, but I think I like the white one), this lace trim cotton blouse, blue lace boho blouse, or this lace insert cami, The evenings tend to get pretty chilly up there, so I’m thinking this eggplant colored top would be perfect. I also love this taupe panama hat, perfect when paired with a low messy bun (you know… on that last day of vacation…).
