{A walk past my favorite little flower stand}
As I sit here, writing this post, I am wondering where the heck the weekend went! It always seems like after a weekend away, the following is spent playing “catch up.” You know, major grocery shopping, straightening up, following up on loose ends… and then it’s Sunday before you know it! We ended up squeezing in a little fun here and there, with a quick trip to Fashion Island for some pressed soft serve… a taco night on Saturday evening, and a nice run in the morning. I guess those weekends are necessary every now and again. They help me feel ready to enter the week without having anything looming over my shoulder. So, here’s to a week with no loose ends and charging ahead! Have a good one everyone!!

This weekend, I focused on the cardio portion of BBG. Yet, I’ve started feeling like I need to incorporate a few more weight bearing moves (with actual weights). I used this move, and threw in a few traditional and sumo squats with weights (Hawaii is only 4 weeks away!!).
I can’t believe that Mother’s Day is a mere two weeks away! I was reminded, by my mom and TJ, that I too am a part of this day now. So, TJ asked me to give him a list of items I am currently eyeing. I thought I’d share them here (hint, hint). I’m loving these studded sandals (a less expensive pair of these) paired with this blush lace maxi dress or yellow flutter dress, this Missoni look alike swimsuit, a white strapless lace top (in yellow too), a crochet lace pajama set, a throw on and go maxi dress, and this tassel swim cover-up. I also throw in a few “splurge” items too… like these rose gold and white sunnies and this handbag (hey, a mom can dream, right?).
And… for my wonderful mother, I’m loving this casual jumpsuit and this light chambray one. I also think this striped linen dressed, paired with these wedge sandals would be a cute gift option… as would these white espadrilles.
Since I can never resist the little girl options either, I’m eyeing this bleached out denim dress, this floral headband (already bought it!), this stripe crochet romper (40% off), embroidered dress (40% off), and yellow ruffle bloomers (40% off)!
