We started this weekend with clear and sunny skies, and ended it with a stormy Saturday and Sunday, which eventually turned to blue skies by the time the sunset on the weekend.

All of that to say, our weekend was pretty low key and after some Saturday morning soccer games (that *just* barely missed the rain… poured on the last 5 minutes) we stayed close to home and caught up on things that needed to be done around the house (like, 3 loads of laundry I had yet to fold from last weekend…). So while there wasn’t anything particularly special, it was one of those weekends that was good for feeling like you were able to cross all those things off the “home to do list.”

And with that, I hope everyone had a good weekend (maybe enjoyed some better weather…) and has a great start to the week ahead!

(Beautiful rain turned stormy overnight… squeezed in soccer games just as the storm arrived… pants, knit, sneakers, bag)

(A little Sunday afternoon manicure… color is static nails glazed pearl pink… so pretty in the sunlight…)

(And started a new, so far really good, book…)

J. Crew has some super cute new arrivals like the return of one of my favorite linen shorts (I have them in black and white) which pair with this cute linen vest, this cute little open weave bag, and this two toned bucket bag, pearl embellished raffia slides.

A few items I have my eye on for an upcoming tropical trip include this ivory and black cut-out suit, two piece set, fitted black dress, brown dress, and I saw this floral dress in a shop window and can’t get it out of my mind… I also think this white flutter top would be an easy top to wear with skirts and shorts…

I love these Hermes inspired black sandals I am wearing above (so so comfortable) and I found this pair in a cream and light blue which I think are so beautiful (different brand).

My favorite belt is back in a beautiful ivory color… so great for spring and summer.

I found the boucle lady cardigan I’ve worn a few times fully in stock here…. so soft and easy to dress up or down.
