Ah… another Friday is upon us and the weekend holds so many possibilities. That’s what I love most about Fridays. The lack of a 9-5 and the joy of being on your own agenda. Free to do whatever you want. Lately, the best weekends have involved lazy mornings and delicious breakfasts, followed by a workout and then whatever else the weekend has in store. Typically a simple evening out with TJ is my favorite way to spend a Saturday… and when you’re talking simple, I mean simple attire too.

I love that in California this ensemble, here, is considered “dressed up.” A simple silk cami, paired with my favorite boyfriend jeans, and “I could conquer anything” heels (we all have that pair) makes me feel like a million bucks. And that’s exactly how I like it. I like simple. There have been times when I’ve added maybe a few too many accessories or tried a style that wasn’t necessarily “me…” and it shows. Well, maybe not so much outwardly, but I feel off… kind of like the whole concept of feng shui in a home. When something feels off, you’re off. Feng shui for me is all in an outfit. Finding those balancing pieces is essential… and when you find them all is right 🙂
