As I mentioned in my last post, TJ and I headed away for a quick parent’s getaway… it was filled with hours spent outdoors, and enjoying the cooler fall weather (finally!). On our last night at The Ranch, we dined outside, under the twinkly lights, and with temps dropping into the 50’s I knew that I needed to wear something that would keep me warm and comfortable.
Enter this beautiful half zip (another cardigan in the same color) and these knit trouser pants from Sézane… soft, warm, and when paired together they create a beautiful tonal look. Knit trouser pants have to be one of my all time favorite fall and winter staples because they are a comfortable way to easily elevate any outfit. You can wear them with cute Mary Janes like I did for this outfit (BTW, these are very comfortable and great for date nights and the office…), sneakers for a dressed down look, and ballet flats for something in between. And this plaid jacket was the best top layer when the evening temps dipped.
