I’m guilty of being a chronic over-wearer (not sure if that’s even a word) of entire outfits. If I don’t plan on seeing the same people, two consecutive days in a row, then no one knows, right (well, actually, that’s not entirely true…. sometimes I don’t really care if I am seeing the same people…)? You see, when I find something I love, I just can’t let it sit in the closet for too long…. that’s why I follow one simple rule. If its worn the tags for over 3 weeks then it goes back. Period. Things I love have a way of working themselves into regular rotation quickly. Example? Pretty much every piece here. The jacket was purchased on a whim… “I’ll see if I like it,” kind of buy. The next day, I wore it. This ruffle top? Bought it on a Thursday, wore it Saturday…. and then a few consecutive days after that. These mules? Well, if you’re not tired of seeing them yet, I’m glad…. because I own them in two colors.

I guess it just speaks to their individual versatility…. perfect pieces to mix and match… or, perfect pieces to dress up and down. I wore this outfit on my birthday, when TJ and I headed up to LA for the night. It was a dressier occasion, and the jacket added just the right touch. Then…. two weeks later, I wore all these pieces on our trip up to Los Olivos…. I mean, they were the most comfortable pieces to keep me cozy while doing a little pinot sipping (and the jacket kept me so warm… it was freezing that weekend)….

I am currently loving it in the taupe and black).
