Going along with my theme this week about how quickly time seems to be moving, as I put this post together, I couldn’t believe that we took this amazing trip 2 months ago. It seems as if so much has happened in that span of time that it both feels as if it was just yesterday and years ago.
All of that to say, when we were thinking about where to go with the family for Spring Break this year, we knew we wanted to go back to Mexico. Having had the opportunity to head south twice last year, we knew how amazing the food was, how friendly everyone we engaged with was, and how beautiful the landscape was… so we had a feeling anywhere would provide us with a wonderful experience.
Having a friend who had recently returned from Punta Mita, Mexico, he raved about the area, as well as The Susurros del Corazón Hotel. After some back and forth with the hotel (who was incredibly helpful) we landed on the right room for our family.
From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless: friendly, accomodating, pristine and beautiful grounds, delicious food and drink. The entire experience was a 10/10 and we would 100% go back again. Our only wish was that they had a few more restaurants on property.
**I should note that there is a downtown area that has some highly recommended restaurants, as well as some hotels nearby (I’d say 15-20 minutes), but at the end of the long days at the beach and pool, we were too tired and opted to stay local at the resort.
We headed out of town looking for that “No Agenda” vacation and it was exactly what he had hoped for.
