When I first found out I was pregnant a lot of different thoughts ran through my head (all of which I have shared). One of them was a natural curiosity of how I was going to dress throughout the 40 weeks. I knew that I wanted to remain true to my general sense of style… and knew that I did want to look frumpy, or hide my belly. Yet, I also knew that I did not want to spend hundreds of dollars on clothes that would only serve a purpose for about 25 weeks of my life. Having those goals in mind, I shopped with intention and purpose (something I hope stays with me post-pregnancy). Key pieces needed to be able to move with me throughout the journey and early on in my pregnancy, around 15 weeks, I found just the piece I was looking for. This little body-con number was worn time and time again over the past 40 weeks… it grew with the belly, accentuated the bump, and made me feel anything but frumpy… essentially, it met all my criteria. I wore it in the summer months with a utility vest and transitioned it into winter with this fuzzy pink coat (which is so cozy) and over the knee boots. Versatile? Yes indeed.
