I’d had my eye on a plaid shacket for a few weeks and let it sit in my shopping cart… and, obviously, it inevitably sold out. I knew what I was looking for but couldn’t quite find it… some reviews noted that the shackets were itchy… and others said they were way too big… and still others just didn’t have the right plaid coloring that I was looking for….

Then I stumbled across this plaid shacket (it sold out, but keeps coming back in stock in a few sizes)… after reading the reviews, and seeing the price point, I knew it was a good option for a trendier piece. I brought it home, and started to put together several outfits to ensure that it would be versatile and not just a one hit wonder. It ended up working with so many ivories, black, camels, and creams that I already had in my wardrobe that I decided to keep it…

It’s soft on the inside (lined with t-shirt material), has two side pockets, button closure, and a nice oversized fit without looking like I borrowed it from TJ. Oh, and it super comfortable as well…

Given that it’s either sold out, or available in very limited quantities, I’ll share a few other shackets I considered before purchasing this one…. all of them should easily work with the 6 outfits I’m sharing below…..

My first choice, until I found this one, was this khaki plaid shacket….
This shacket is very similar in coloring to the one I am wearing…
And this shacket has beautiful deep ambers and burgundies….
This plaid topcoat is another beautiful option….
