The LBD is notoriously known as the “Little Black Dress.” I would like to introduce another LBD of mine : the “Long Black Dress.” Don’t get me wrong, the LBD is perfect for just about anything, but so to is the OTHER “LBD,” the long black dress. I purchased this one a few months ago (after wearing my previous one to a faded black that was probably almost grey…) and wear it ALL THE TIME! In the peak summer months I rotated it with several different sandals, varying pieces of jewelry, and a statement clutch. As I make the transition into fall though, I am finding that layering pieces is the best way to keep this Long Black Dress alive. I’ve kept the shoes and bag the same in both pieces, but tossed on one to two layering articles to make the dress look completely different and warm enough for a cooler day!
Toss on a cozy yet chic plaid shirt and you have a drastically different look!
