Something that was always in the back of my head while I was pregnant was what happens to the belly after delivery. Not in a vain way, but more out of of a genuine curiosity. I mean, it’s stretched with a baby, so one would think once the baby is out the belly would return to post-pregnancy shape, right? Well, not exactly. Just like I had to adapt to my changing body during pregnancy, I realized I would need to adapt to it post-delievery as well. Enter these BlANQI leggings. They are literally the most comfortable pair I own, with the perfect amount of stretch and amazingly soft material. They accommodate to my post-pregnancy body, but I also plan on simply rolling down the belly band once my stomach no longer needs the extra stretch. I’ve ben wearing them non-stop since returning home from the hospital and decided to share the three ways I have been styling them lately!

I usually toss them on first thing in the morning when I feed Harper and make some breakfast. They aren’t constricting like many leggings, so they are really comfortable to lounge in. Don’t get me wrong, I love a pair of sweatpants, but after a few days in them I start to feel a little frumpy, so tossing on these leggings helps me feel a little more put together. I get cold in the mornings, so tossing on the blanket scarf always helps to give me a little more warmth.

After her feedings, I try to get myself together and go for a slow, short walk. TJ and I have been walking to the local Starbucks where I can pick up a soy chai tea latte and enjoy some fresh air (I’m starting to get a little stir crazy!). We bundle Harper up in her stroller so she stays warm too. This stripe top from J. Crew was one of my favorite finds during pregnancy and I love the length of it now as well.
Yesterday morning we headed to our first post-birth doctor’s appointment for Harper and I took the opportunity to dress the leggings up a bit. I pulled out my favorite studded flats and pink fringe coat to add a little texture to the outfit.
