I simply can’t bring myself to let go of white (you know, that whole “no white after Labor Day” thing)…. So in the spirit of acceptance, I am accepting that I still want to wear white and will do so in Fall/Winter appropriate ways! Then again, maybe that is what I am telling myself to justify this post-Labor Day White Skirt Purchase (I tend to use rationalization when I am shopping)?! Regardless of the reason, I knew that I could easily transition this flirty white drop waist skirt into the Fall/Winter. Pairing it with the eggplant silk blouse, jewel toned statement necklace, and closed toed pumps made it Fall evening appropriate (read: I wasn’t too cold or too hot). Stay tuned… I have tons of ideas for this skirt: black tights, sweaters, booties… now, if only the weather would cooperate with my plans!
