Fall has not officially arrived, but all things that signify the season have. The smell of pumpkin lattes and muffins, the NFL jingle, changing leaves (although that possibly is due to the drought in Southern California), 90 degree temperatures, and dreams of cooler weather. Well, I guess those last few ring true if you live in California 🙂 For me I try to begin incorporating fall pieces right around this time every year… and for me those pieces always include floppy hats, light coats, and transitional dresses. And since I typically end up sweltering, I try to plan as many trips to “cooler” locals as possible… hence the trip to Chicago this weekend and another weekend getaway to San Francisco in a few weeks. So, as we head into the weekend, I’m delighting in the idea of being able to (comfortably) wear a scarf and coat!
