Casual Style || The Boyfriend Blazer

I feel as if, for the past of couple months, the pesky cold has been jumping around our house. It hit me in January, tagged TJ a few weeks later, then hit Harper…. then hit me again before the half marathon… and now Harper has come down with it again… crossing my fingers TJ doesn’t end up with it this time around…. he’s much better than he used to be when he would get sick… but I’m still debating what’s worse…. a sick kiddo or husband (btw, I say all of that in love… he reads all these posts….). We’ll be diffusing On Guard like crazy around our house the next few days…. and someone recommended the tablets… so maybe we’ll give those a try just to be on the safe side.

All of that aside, I’m loving casual blazers right now. I owned a navy blue one (actually, it’s still hanging in my closet…), and an orange one, back when I worked a traditional 9-5 and I’ve always loved their versatility. They’re super easy to take you stylishly into the workweek… and easy to dress down with jeans + kicks, or up for a date night with a cami + heels. The oversized feel keeps it pretty laid back, and they’re are so many adorable ones out there right now. I had my eye on this striped one, and then it sold out, but it’s back again, so….. and this cream and white one is gorgeous, and I love this taupe option too. If you’re looking for some fun color options, I suggest this boyfriend style option…. either way you go, it’s a great lightweight option for spring and summer!

Also, my monthly Q+A will be on the blog Friday. Please send over and questions you have by tomorrow afternoon!
