It’s usually around this time of year, the end of August, when the temps hit an all time high that I start to unnecessarily think about summer to fall outfits. It’s usually while I’m sitting out sweating by the soccer field, and wishing the temps were cooler, that these thoughts pop into my mind.
And while it won’t be fall here for a bit longer, I have begun looking in my wardrobe at pieces that will easily transition between the two seasons with some simple swaps. I’m sharing some of these pieces from Sezane below.
A few notes about some of the accessories below. If you’re looking for a beautiful suede bag for fall, I can’t recommend The Gabin bag more- it’s extra roomy, has both a shoulder and hand strap (so you can wear it two ways), and is the most beautiful suede color. So versatile, as you can see it paired with the outfits below. And if you’re wanting to try out leopard print this fall season but don’t want to feel “over the top” then the Livie Belt is a wonderful option- a touch of leopard, and nothing more (see it styled below).
MAX SHIRT
The Max shirt has the best I’ve ever found oversized fit… and the material is 10/10 as well… not too stiff, but not flimsy… the perfect amount of structure to dress up or down. For summer I love paring it with shorts (both denim and linen) and sandals, and in the cooler months it’s great as an easy top layer or fully buttoned with jeans. It comes in so many great color options as well.
GASPARD CARDIGAN
The Gaspard Cardigan has such great versatility to it since you can wear it two different ways:with the buttons in the back, or the buttons in the front. Both ways provide a completely different look, making you feel as if you’re wearing a completely different sweater. I love it in the red color, but I had it in several other color options as well. It looks great with shorts now and denim in the fall.
THE ANA DRESS
The Ana Dress is such a beautiful LBD to transition from summer to fall. It hangs effortlessly, and the button front details really elevate the dress. I love it paired with sandals in the summer months and sneakers and boots for the fall months.
The CONRAD TEE
If you’re looking for a perfect basic tee, that’s not too thick and not flimsy, then look no further. The Conrad tee is one of my wardrobe all stars. I own it in white, grey, and black. So easy to wear solo in the summer and layered in the fall.
