Yesterday was what I called my “reentry day” into reality. It’s amazing how after two days off you get used to having no schedule, being lazy in bed (an actual slow morning), and going to bed without mentally counting the hours of sleep you’ll be getting…. Needless to say, the morning was a little rough (finished my workout by 6:40 but somehow didn’t get to eating breakfast until 9am…. not sure what happened in those two hours….). Let’s just say I’m glad it’s Tuesday and we’re one step closer to the weekend…..
All that aside, summer skirts are high on my radar this summer. The fact that they can easily be mixed + matched with favorite tops I already have in my closet makes them a no brainer choice…. and some of my favorite options can be worn as a dress too… a two for one. I picked up this cute polka dot number at the Nordstrom sale and love its playful nature. I front knotted it here for a casual, everyday look… but pair it with this bodysuit for a dressier option. You can even toss on sneakers, stead of slides, for a much more off duty feel.
A few skirts that I am loving right now include this convertible ruffle skirt, convertible gingham skirt, and this shorter, white crinkle skirt.
