In all the ultrasounds we’ve had since becoming pregnant, the tech has told us that little Harper is going to be a little bit of sugar and spice (purely based on her sassiness and sweetness in cooperating with her). I loved it. It terrified TJ. I’ve always felt that a woman should exude both, in balanced ways. Be kind to all, but don’t ever be a doormat. Always demonstrate class, with a little edge. Be open and honest, but hold close to you what matters most. So, when I came across this dress, I knew it was that perfect combination of sugar and spice.
When I brought it home, I immediately told TJ we needed to go somewhere a little fancy so I could wear it… and out it came this past weekend in Palm Springs. I’ve always believed in the cliché saying that beauty comes from within… but have also held that how I present myself on the outside can have a great impact on the presence I carry. Everyone needs a little bit of sugar and spice in their wardrobe… this just happens to be mine right now 🙂
