Styling A Structured Cardigan || 7 Ways

My favorite time of the year has come: the non-dry winter heat wave that hits Southern California every winter. It typically arrives after a particularly wet week, and it’s always welcome. We have temps creeping up to touch 80 degrees by early next week… and then it does what it always does, heads back down to fall back in line with the season.

Luckily, this cardigan works for the varying temps Southern California chooses to throw our way this season. When I first saw the structured cardigan style, I immediately loved the refined and elevated look. Yet, I wasn’t sold on the price tag. Then I stumbled across this almost identical option and decided to give it a try. The moment I pulled it out of the packaging I knew it would be a piece I would wear on repeat (and as a side note, I did purchase the more expensive option to compare, and prefer the feel of this one… less stiff and much softer).

Since receiving, I’ve worn it so many times, for various occasions. I wore it to a casual lunch date with TJ, the girl’s Saturday night variety show, coffee with friends, and then just for a day when I wanted to be comfortable and still feel pulled together (paired with these wide legged pants in portabella…. so chic).

I didn’t want it too fitted or loose and found my regular size gave me to perfect fit. This one comes in several different color options as well.

And with that, I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend ahead!
