I love having favorite staples. It makes getting ready so much easier. When I get dressed in the morning, I usually spend quite a bit of time staring aimlessly at the racks of clothes… only to land on either workout attire (they’re often too comfortable to resist…) or my favorite skinnies. Once I know which one I am choosing, it’s a relatively simple venture from there. I simply pick out a top and away I go. So, I guess you now know what I have an over abundance of… yes, tops. Yet, there always seems to be a somewhat consistent pattern to these tops… simple, versatile, and comfortable enough to wear all day.
I was a tad slow to warm to the off the shoulder trend, picking up a few pieces here and there (dress, black top). Yet, this season, I have seen so many different tops and dresses that are off the shoulder and I am simply loving them. It’s a feminine trend and is versatile enough for day or night. I loved this top when I saw it, namely for the stripes and the simple ruffles at the top. It was neutral enough to be paired with just about anything in my closet…. so I decided it was a winner and a place should be given to it in my closet.
