Having a birthday five days after Christmas isn’t great for the wardrobe. Growing up, my parents did a phenomenal job of always making it a special day. Yet, when it came to telling them what I wanted for my birthday, I was in a quandary. I just had a fabulously blessed Christmas, and now I am supposed to come up with something for my birthday. Solution. We now wait. We wait for Spring when all the bright colors and new “Spring Things” to arrive.
