I just wanted to start today’s post by saying “Thank you” to everyone for your support on yesterday’s chat about friendships… .whether it was a private message, DM on instagram, comment, or comment on the post I loved each of them….. some were from those who have been where I am and encouraging me… and others from those who are currently experiencing what I am going through. It’s always nice to know you’re not alone…. and to hear from those who have gone before! So thank you, thank you….

I snuck away for some alone time yesterday to prepare for our trip next week…. well, I went to the mall, where I was able to actually browse the selection of items in the stores… not merely rush in, grab what I came for, and rush back out with little miss in tow. For the first few minutes though I was on auto-pilot. I had to remind my self to chill out and relax. All that to say, with the vibrant and gorgeous hues that are everywhere at the beginning of spring, it’s even more important to be sure to have a “base” for your closet to be able to mix all the fun items in seamlessly. Which is exactly what I am sharing with you in today’s post…. my spring blank canvas. White jeans (another amazing pair of high waisted white jeans), white tee, neutral cardigan. All three will easily allow you to effortlessly mix in reds, blues, greens, pinks, yellows, and oranges in a cinch.

Case in point. For Hawaii, I bought this gorgeous maxi skirt (which can easily be worn as a strapless dress too… I made sure of that before I decided to keep it… a two for one…) and plan on bringing my favorite white tee to front knot with it for a casual evening sipping Mai Tais….. or this pretty little red eyelet top (or my favorite pink sweatshirt) with the white jeans…. and my favorite body-con dress, in navy, with the cardigan…. orpretty little heels keep the all white and add a little color with these (on my list).

So, in conclusion, if you’re looking for a few key investment pieces for the spring these three are them.
