Sometimes, we just need a little sparkle in our lives! I read a quote somewhere that read something like this “When a woman says ‘I don’t have anything to wear’ what she really means is ‘There’s nothing here for who I am supposed to be today.'” and I couldn’t help but relate to it. I often find myself looking at my closet full of clothing and saying “I have nothing to wear,” (my mom can attest, I have done that since I was in elementary school….) even though I have dozens of options. The better statement would be “Nothing here fits what I feel inside.” When I received these lovely little shorts from Heartloom last week, I knew the weekend would be a perfect time to wear them! I sparkle on the weekends! I LOVE the weekends! Therefor, what better outfit choice than a sparkly, flirty, pair of shorts to match the mood?
