I was never a tomboy. It was actually a concept that was a little foreign to me. I have always been a skirts and dresses kind of gal. As an adult though, I’m constantly on the ground, crawling around and chasing after little kiddos….not necessarily conducive to skirts and dresses and other traditionally girly attire. So when I get an opportunity these days to wear something a little “fancier,” I jump at the chance, which is why I was so excited to wear these pieces in San Luis Obispo last weekend wine tasting. I just love the flare of a flute skirt-who can resist twirling at least once or twice wearing a piece like this…especially when you’re surrounded by rolling vineyards?!
