The girls have had summer camp for the last couple of weeks, but no camp this week,  so it’s a week of play and exploring together. We headed down for our first beach trip yesterday, and today we’re thinking about getting Balboa Bars down on Balboa Island with my sister + niece… and then a swim play date mid-week… and then I don’t know… we’ll see where the last two days of the week take us. Something about long, unplanned, summer days is always nice… 

But for today’s post, I wanted to quickly share some of my summer staples from Sézane…. Beautiful pieces that are versatile, lightweight, and great for any summer occasion you might have.

PIPPA DRESS

The Pippa dress fits like a dream. The side tie creates such a flattering silhouette, and the material is stretchy and soft, making it comfortable for all day wear. Dress it up with heels, dress it down with sneakers, and pair it with sandals for something in between. The dress comes in so many beautiful colors as well…

LUNA TOP

I own the Luna top in both the back and white colorwarys, and it’s a great, elevated basic for the summer season. It has nice stretch to it, and the material is a soft knit, making it supremely comfortable. So easy to dress down, or up, depending on the occasion.

DEIA SHORTS

I purchased these shorts last summer and wore them non-stop. I think the belted waistline really elevates them, while the pockets and looser leg make them casual and comfortable for daily wear. They’re incredibly versatile and pair nicely with just about any top you can think of… 

MARCELO TOP

And if you’re looking for a high neck, ribbed, tank for the summer season, this one is great. So comfortable, great stretch, and east to wear with so many different outfits. This tank also comes in so many great colors as well! 

ROSA TOP

Made from lightweight and soft chambray this embroidered blouse is so beautiful for summer. You can wear it casually with linen shorts (or the shorts I’m wearing) or dress it up with white trousers and sandals for a date night….

GATSBY MARINIÈRE

Another purchase from last summer, but such a good staple for the wardrobe is the striped marinière. It’s lightweight so a perfect lightweight layer for any cool summer nights.

MAX SHIRT

Alright, so I love this top so much I dedicated a full post to different ways to style it for spring… but it’s just as great for summer season when worn as a lightweight top layer… toss it on over a tank, or roll up the sleeves, button it up, and wear it fully tucked into shorts. It has such a perfect oversized fit and is really great across seasons. 

LÉONTINE JUMPER

And lastly, the léontine jumper is another great lightweight option for cooler summer days and nights. It’s made from cotton, so it’s the perfect summertime fabric… and there are so many beautiful color combos to choose from as well….
