Sometimes I question whether or not I was born in the right decade. When I was younger I used to love pouring over my parent’s old yearbooks and prom pictures from high school and college (It may have been my nosiness coming through, but I just loved reading what all their friends wrote about them too :). The pictures were laced with peace signs, psychedelic colors, and one-piece jumpsuits. The jumpsuit. Such an iconic piece of the 70’s (not that I know first hand, all my knowledge of the 70’s comes from photos and stories). I used to ask my mom why she didn’t keep those old pieces of clothing, as if she was supposed to have the foresight to know that they would someday grace the fashion world’s presence again. While this romper isn’t one pulled out of the archives of my mom’s closet, it’s one that I foresee myself wearing well into these coming fall months (I can’t promise I will keep this for my future daughter) and beyond!
