Red pants had been on my list for a while… in fact, since last winter. I purchased a few pairs and sent them all back for various, insignificant reasons. Then summer came and the thought of them seemingly escaped from my mind (likely because I was distracted by red dresses… it’s really not that hard to do…). Yet, winter came again, and again my mind drifted to red pants, and so the prowl began and happily ended! I love the balance between the color and the structure of the cropped trowser pant… not wanting to look like I’m heading out for a wild night, the trowser brings in a level of sophistication both appropriate for the work world and cocktail-ing world (both of which I partake in…). A simple way to dress this look down (and which you will probably see sometime later this season) would be to toss on a pair of gold sandals, white silk top, and a denim jacket.
