Two events took place over this past weekend that signified fall to me (and neither of them had anything to do with the weather…). The first? I spent all day Saturday shopping with one of my best girlfriends. On the agenda? Nothing at all sleeveless or short. The dressing room was filled with long sleeve dresses (one that I am crossing my fingers she gets!) and I tried on at least 2-3 floppy felt hats everywhere we stopped. The second? That Sunday night jingle that signifies that football is back (and the fact that my husband was on both his iPhone and iPad watching his performance in his multiple fantasy leagues… don’t even get me started on that one…). I was almost tempted to make my favorite sweet potato chili and blast the air conditioning (almost.). With all these fall indicators, it only felt logical that I was inspired to toss on my favorite hat and plaid shirt for this post! Please let me know if you can see the sweat dripping down my face…
