This pink fedora made quite the appearance over Christmas Vacation (as I type that the Griswold’s Family Christmas Vacation theme song plays in my head… “Christmas Vacation, Christmas Vacation…”). I’ve had my eye on it for several weeks, and it sat in my Nordstrom shopping bag over the holidays (moving to and from the “buy now” and “save for later” bags…). Post Christmas, the annual question of “What do you want for your birthday?” presented itself (it’s a mere five days after). The little pink fedora immediately entered my mind. Off to the mall my mom and I went. I tried the hat on and fell in love instantly (I know, sounds silly, those are some pretty strong words for something as simple as a hat…). My parents were so kind to allow me to frolic in it several days pre-birthday celebration (something that was never allowed in childhood… I guess this is one of the benefits of turning 31??)… AND you can guarantee it was a staple on my recent Napa trip… from vineyard hoping to relaxing sunset cocktails, it tagged along for the fun.
