The struggle is real when I put on a dress. No, it’s not with the dress, it’s with the toes. What do I do? A part of me screams “Grab the heels!… Grab those 4 inch espadrilles. Werk it girl!” Then, the other part of me says, “Yeah, your toes will thank you later… grab those kicks.” The former typically wins. I’d say 8 out of 10 times. It’s really my solution to finding balance in my outfits… and quite honestly has rapidly become one of my favorite combinations. Would I wear it out to cocktail with the girls? Um, likely not. Yet, for a lunch with my friends? You bet. A day of shopping? No brainer. Or for a day when I simply want out of my distressed jeans? Perfect alternative if you ask me…. just insert iced tea in one hand, a stroller in the other (which is exactly why this backpack is a new staple in my #momiform… hands free…)!
I’m on the hunt for a new pair of sneakers for these summer months. I’m going back and forth between this pink and blue pair or this all white classic look (which takes me back to my freshmen year of high school!). I’m not sure who will win, but I’ll keep you posted!
