Park City Fall 2021, Recap

We ventured out to Park City this past weekend for several days to celebrate TJ’s 40th birthday… it’s a trip we’ve been taking for the past three years, but this year we went a week and a half earlier, and the fall colors were absolutely breathtaking (we typically just miss them). My parents joined us in the festivities and we enjoyed the cool + crisp fall air, morning hikes, lazy afternoons relaxing, and then heading out in the evening….

I’ve always found Park City to have a magical feel for me and our family. Maybe it’s because we’ve always had such a wonderful time, but also because it’s so different than where we live…. true falls and winters… a quaint little main street… and a slower pace of life that sort of forces a no agenda, few days off. And this past weekend wasn’t any different (despite the early morning wake up calls from our little ladies) and I’m so grateful for the time we were able to spend together.

I hope you all had a great few days and a good week ahead!
______

(First family flight since 2019 and it was a success… joggers, tank, sneakers, pullover, girl’s sandals)

(Hiked Silver Strike trail and it was spectacular… the girls didn’t make it very far before we needed to carry them… and they eventually headed back a little earlier with my parents so TJ and I could head upwards a little longer. half zip sherpa, ribbed onesie, socks, hiking boots, girl’s jacket, Camille’s outfit)

(Post hike, my mom and I headed down to Main Street for a little souvenir shopping… swapped out the sherpa and hiking boots for these shearling mules and plaid shirt jacket…)

(Girls loved our at home happy hour appetizer board….)

(Souvenir found… and bundled up for a Friday night libation outside…. (similar sweatshirt))

(We hiked Bonanza Flats on day 2 and when we came over the Empire Pass and dropped down it was breathtaking… these photos don’t even do it justice.)

(Headed to the Montage for some happy hour beverages for all and relaxed around the fire pit…. my jeans, bodysuit, mules, faux leather jacket, girl’s dresses)

(Headed to McPolin Farm on our last full day to check out the scarecrow festival and walk the beautiful trail… this one was an obvious favorite for little miss…)

(Back to the Montage for our last night for an early birthday celebration for this guy…. leggings (petite option), top, shirt jacket, mules, TJ’s top)

(Comfort for the quick flight home… pants, top)
