So we ended up having a flash flood yesterday morning (wasn’t forecasted, didn’t have an umbrella…) and whenever it rains in So. Cal things get a little wild… and that definitely applied to my girls yesterday. I’d say there must have been something in the air… but it was the rain. I know it. Anyway, just got them down, and now I’m ready to call it a night (I’ll actually end up getting a second wind here in about 10 minutes and will probably end up reading and then it’ll be 10pm before I know it… anyone else??). All that to say, I’m sure happy tomorrow is Friday….
Getting to today’s post. When I first received these Veja Nova high top sneakers (all sizes here) I was a bit uncertain… 85% certain I liked them, 15% uncertain if I could pull them off. I’ve always felt that high tops make my already short legs feel shorter, so I’ve typically steered away from them. Yet when I saw these, I decided I’d give them a try for the fall/winter/spring/summer season (they work for all seasons really). Obviously the rest is history. I’ve worn them countless times over the past month, and I know I’ll continue to do so. So today I rounded up over 15 (I believe there are 18) ways to style them.
And with that, I hope everyone has a great weekend ahead! All we have planned is a soccer game on Saturday, and I’m completely good with a low key weekend. See you Monday!

*** a bit about sizing. I’m a 6.5 and purchased the 38. They fit perfectly, if not with a little room to spare. I wore a thick sock with them in Park City and that gave me the more snug fit, which was still very comfortable. So could I have taken the 37? Probably. Does the 38 work? Definitely.
