I hope everyone is having a great week so far. We headed out on our European adventure on Saturday, so I’ll be quiet over here for most of July. But, I wanted to quickly pop in and share my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale post. As I’ve been doing since the beginning, I rounded up the items that I/We, own, love, and recommend… and then shared a few items I have my eye on, and newer this year, added a few outfit inspos at the end (think “summer date night” and “office setting”). I know this is a heavily chatted about sale, but it is just a sale. So if there is something you’ve had your eye on, something you’re needing in your wardrobe or home, then this is a great time to check out some of the savings. If not, feel free to pass on this post.

And, if you do choose to shop the sale, I hope this can be helpful in some way!

FASHION

NEW BALANCE SNEAKERS: I bought these New Balance 327 sneakers during one of the sales, brought them with me to Italy, and they were supremely comfortable. They were the shoe that turned me into a NB lover again. Can’t recommend them more… and they’re on sale in this white color way. I found them to run tts for me.

NEW BALANCE 530: Speaking of New Balance sneakers, I have this pair in two colors, and have the blue color way in my wishlist folder for the sale. These are very comfortable (not a workout sneaker…) and I love wearing them with wide legged lounge pants in the fall months. These are true to size for me…

SEAMLESS UNDERWEAR: I stock up on these every year. I have a few go-to pairs of seamless underwear and these are one of them. Very comfortable and I wear them with all of my leggings and dresses… but also for just everyday wear as well. 

PAJAMA SET: Another purchase from last season, that is so cute, is this easy button down pajamas set. Made from super soft material it’s so comfortable for sleeping. It’s under $50 and can’t recommend it more. It also runs tts.

BOMBAS CUSHIONED QUARTER SOCKS: These socks are great in the cooler months… they’re cushioned, but also not super thick that they feel bulky. I love running in them as well. So comfortable and for the sale they come in a 3 pack.

BOMBAS CUSHIONED NO SHOW SOCKS: My favorite everyday no-show socks… and these are the ones I recommend with any of the Adidas trainers (gazelles, sambas, etc…). They cover your entire foot, so the tongue of sneakers won’t rub against the top, but they are also low profile that you can’t see the socks. Can’t recommend these more.

SPANX AIR ESSENTIALS HALF ZIP: Lightweight, but still substantial and soft, it’S great for traveling, throwing on post workout for school drop offs, and pairing with the matching pants for a chic, elevated, everyday casual look. It’s not super oversized, so I went up one size for some wiggle room, without it fitting huge.

SPANX AIR ESSENTIALS WIDE LEG PANT: Same material that I mentioned above for the half zip, and the pants have the perfect wide leg fit (which I find to be a bit more elevated than joggers). So comfortable and love the fit and feel.

BEAUTY

SUPERGOOP GLOW SCREEN: These products are all part of my regular sunscreen rotation and I can’t recommend them more, especially the tinted facial screen. It’s easy to mix in with my foundation for a beautiful, all day glow, as well. 

NECESSAIRE BODY WASH: My go-to body wash for the past 4 years is this necessarie eucalyptus wash- it lathers up wonderfully and it smells as if you’re at a spa (it’s a subtle smell, I’m sensitive to scents). 

OSEA MALIBU GLOW TRIO: I’ve been using this trio for a year now and it truly makes your skin feel so soft and smooth… and it does exactly what it says it should, glow! The anti-aging balm is also amazing! And if you’ve never tried OSEA products, the smell is heavenly (again, subtle).

KOPARI DEODORANT: One of my favorite non-toxic deodorants, and it comes in a duo for the sale. I love the way their subtle scents smell and I’ve been using the “performance” one for 2 years now.

ELEMIS PRO COLLAGEN CLEANSING BALM: Maybe my holy grail of all beauty products. I’ve been using the Elemis cleansing balm for 5 years now and have never veered (I’ve tried but immediately return). It’s nourishing and really gets my skin squeaky clean.

ghd Hair-straightener + Curling Iron: I’ve been using both products for over a year now and love how they grip and run so smoothly over my hair… I’ve never noticed any heat damage either.

MEN 

PAIGE FEDERAL JEANS: These are TJ’s absolute favorite pair of jeans, and he is always sure to grab a pair at the sale. They’re a slim fit and super flattering.

PETER MILLAR SATEEN PANTS: These are a huge hit with all the men in my family…. TJ, BIL, and my dad… all 3 of them have multiple pairs. They’re a slim fit and such a great pant for business casual environments, as well as casual settings.

ADIDAS ULTRABOOST RUNNING SNEAKERS: TJ is also a huge fan of the ultraboost sneakers for running… same as the women’s line… cushioned and great for comfortable running.

TOMMY JOHN SECOND SKIN BOXERS: The most comfortable pair of boxer briefs, according to TJ….
