I hope everyone is having a great start to the week! I wanted to quickly pop in and share my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale post. As I’ve been doing since the beginning, I rounded up the items that I/We, own, love, and recommend… and then shared a few items I have my eye on, and newer this year, added a few outfit inspos at the end (think “summer date night” and “office setting”). I know this is a heavily chatted about sale, but it is just a sale. So if there is something you’ve had your eye on, something you’re needing in your wardrobe or home, then this is a great time to check out some of the savings. If not, feel free to pass on this post.
And, if you do choose to shop the sale, I hope this can be helpful in some way!
FASHION
NEW BALANCE SNEAKERS: I bought these New Balance 327 sneakers during last year’s sale, brought them with me to Italy, and they were supremely comfortable. They were the shoe that turned me into a NB lover again. Can’t recommend them more… and they’re on sale in this white color way. I found them to run tts for me.
SEAMLESS UNDERWEAR: I stock up on these every year. I have a few go-to pairs of seamless underwear and these are one of them. Very comfortable and I wear them with all of my leggings and dresses… but also for just everyday wear as well.
STANCE NO SHOW RUNNING SOCKS: I’ve been wearing these running socks for over 6 years now and I can’t recommend them more. My personal preference is a sock that is cushioned, but not too thick that my foot feels restricted in my running shoes and these fit the bill perfectly.
PAJAMA SET: Another purchase from last season, that is so cute, is this easy button down pajamas set. Made from super soft material it’s so comfortable for sleeping. It’s under $50 and can’t recommend it more. It also runs tts.
VARLEY OPEN KNIT TOP: I purchased this top last spring season and it’s so good for spring and summer… lightweight and so chic. For the Nordstrom Sale, it comes in this color, as well as an olive green shade.
PEARL STUDDED BALLET FLATS: These Stuart Weitzman pearl studded ballet flats are made from the softest leather and are very comfortable. They come in this black color, as well as a light tan and a blush color.
ON CLOUDMONSTER SNEAKERS: I’m a huge fan of ON sneakers for cross training, hiking, and walking. They have lots of support, cushioning, and a low profile fit. This colorway isn’t part of the sale, but the style is. If you’re between sizes, you should go up with these.
ON CLOUDNOVA SNEAKERS: Another great cross training sneaker I highly recommend. These are cushioned and very comfortable. They have a higher profile fit than the cloudmonster, and I might slightly prefer these to the former. I find these to run true to athletic shoe sizing. They are available in black during the Nordstrom Sale.
EXPLORER DRESS: I absolutely love this dress. It’s incredibly comfortable, versatile, and chic. I brought it to Italy last summer and it was so easy to dress up and down (also packed it for this year’s trip as well). It’s available in a blue color during the Nordstrom Sale.
UGG COZETTE CURLY SLIPPERS: I’ve had these Ugg slippers since 2022 and they’re great. They’re a platform slipper, so if you’re wanting a flat slipper, I don’t recommend these. Other than that, they’re great.
LE PLIAGE NYLON TOTE: I purchased this great everyday tote bag back in January this year and absolutely love it. It’s the perfect size to fit all the things, and fits comfortably on the shoulder. It’s available in two colors during the Nordstrom Sale.
ZELLA MIXED MEDIA PUFFER JACKET: To say I love this jacket would be an understatement. I’ve had it since 2022 and it’s a favorite year after year. I initially purchased it as a running jacket, but love it for everyday athleisure life as well. My mom and aunt both own this as well… it’s a good one, especially at the sale price of under $90.
BOMBAS CUSHIONED QUARTER SOCKS: These socks are great in the cooler months… they’re cushioned, but also not super thick that they feel bulky. So comfortable and for the sale they come in a 3 pack.
BOMBAS CUSHIONED NO SHOW SOCKS: My favorite everyday no-show socks… and these are the ones I recommend with any of the Adidas trainers (gazelles, sambas, etc…). They cover your entire foot, so the tongue of sneakers won’t rub against the top, but they are also low profile that you can’t see the socks. Can’t recommend these more.
SPANX AIR ESSENTIALS PULLOVER: I purchased this pullover, the the black, for this trip and don’t regret it at all. Lightweight, but still substantial and soft, it was great for traveling and a day in London. It’s not super oversized, so I went up one size for some wiggle room, without it fitting huge.
BEAUTY
So many of my go-to beauty products are included in the sale this season. These are tried and true items that I’ve really come to love over the last couple of years.
BRIOGEO SCALP TREATMENT: I’ve been using this scalp treatment for 3 years now and I swear it makes my scalp so clean, which, from what I’ve read, promotes healthy hair growth. It also smells like a mint Girl Scout cookie! I double shampoo my hair, so I start with a regular shampoo, rinse, and then lather this onto my scalp, and then rinse.
SUPERGOOP GLOW SCREEN: These products are all part of my regular sunscreen rotation and I can’t recommend them more, especially the tinted facial screen. It’s easy to mix in with my foundation for a beautiful, all day glow, as well.
NECESSAIRE BODY WASH: My go-to body wash for the past 4 years is this necessarie eucalyptus wash- it lathers up wonderfully and it smells as if you’re at a spa (it’s a subtle smell, I’m sensitive to scents).
T3 HAIR STRAIGHTENER: I got this straightener last year and now that I predominately straighten my hair, it’s used with high frequency. It glides over my hair, doesn’t snag, and is slim enough that I can do waves with it as well.
OSEA MALIBU GLOW TRIO: This is a new to me product this summer season but it truly makes your skin feel so soft and smooth… and it does exactly what it says it should, glow! The anti-aging balm is also amazing! And if you’ve never tried OSEA products, the smell is heavenly (again, subtle).
KOPARI DEODORANT: One of my favorite non-toxic deodorants, and it comes in a duo for the sale. I love the way their subtle scents smell and I’ve been using the “performance” one for 2 years now.
KIEHL’S RETINOL SERUM: I’ve been using this retinol serum for almost 2 years now and can’t recommend it more. It’s not harsh and formulated for all skin types and I swear it’s helped to target fine lines and even my coloring.
ELEMIS PRO COLLAGEN CLEANSING BALM: Maybe my holy grail of all beauty products. I’ve been using the Elemis cleansing balm for 5 years now and have never veered (I’ve tried but immediately return). It’s nourishing and really gets my skin squeaky clean.
OLAPLEX CONDITIONER: I’ve been using the Olaplex conditioner for about 4 years now and find myself returning to it when I attempt to change. It truly conditions my hair and leaves it feeling so silky soft. This is a value size for the Nordstrom sale, and if you love the line, this is a great deal (the shampoo value size is also part of the Nordstrom sale).
HOME
BAREFOOT DREAMS BLANKET: My sister had this blanket first and once I felt it and sat with it, I knew I had to have one. It is truly so soft and the width is perfect. I sit with it every single night (when I can get it away from the girls….).
MEN + KIDDOS
PAIGE TRANSCEND JEANS: These are TJ’s absolute favorite pair of jeans, and he is always sure to grab a pair at the sale. They’re a slim fit and super flattering.
PETER MILLAR SATEEN PANTS: These are a huge hit with all the men in my family…. TJ, BIL, and my dad… all 3 of them have multiple pairs. They’re a slim fit and such a great pant for business casual environments, as well as casual settings.
ADIDAS ULTRABOOST RUNNING SNEAKERS: TJ is also a huge fan of the ultraboost sneakers for running… same as the women’s line… cushioned and great for comfortable running.
TOMMY JOHN SECOND SKIN BOXERS: The most comfortable pair of boxer briefs, according to TJ….
