Sometimes, there really is no rhyme or reason for an outfit. Which is exactly what happens when you enter into a packing frenzy early on a weekend morning… especially when it’s the middle of winter and it’s 85 degrees where you are going (I realize, as I post this, that most of the nation is enduring frigid temperatures, and I feel slightly guilty…). Since my sweaters have temporarily (or permanently… not really sure yet) been pushed to the back of my closet, I grabbed for lighter fabrics and shorter hems (Hence the shorts. Yes, shorts in the middle of winter). From there, I can’t really explain much more. Just that I threw a bunch of stuff in a suitcase and off we went. Isn’t that what vacation is all about? Not having a rhyme or reason for what you wear or do?? I think so 🙂
On another note, Allison comes home tomorrow! I can’t wait to catch up and hear all about their trip! And secretly I am happy that she can join me in the 9-5 life, instead of sending me cocktail pictures at noon… That’s what sisters are for though, right?!
